REQUIREMENTS TO GET PISTOL PERMIT IN CT
BASIC PISTOL PERMIT COURSE
In this basic 8 hour course, you will learn the basic safety fundamentals that are necessary to safely handle and operate a firearm. A safety course such as this, is a mandatory legal requirement to legally obtain a Connecticut Pistol Permit, and legally purchase a firearm in the state of Connecticut. At the end of this course you will be provided a certificate that will allow you to apply for your State of Connecticut Pistol Permit. This course consists of several sections.
DELUXE PISTOL PERMIT COURSE (NOTARY AND PASSPORT PHOTO INCLUDED)
In this basic 8 hour course, you will learn the basic safety fundamentals that are necessary to safely handle and operate a firearm. A safety course such as this, is a mandatory legal requirement to legally obtain a Connecticut Pistol Permit, and legally purchase a firearm in the state of Connecticut. This 1 hour session is designed to receive a more in-depth personalized shooting experience. Students will speak to instructor prior to the session to discuss shooter’s experience levels, and what skills he/she is looking to improve upon.
